Save doesn’t take

Coin has to be set. Amount and unit price are the Size rows — tap the number, type, then Done on the keyboard before you hit Save. If you bounce back, the coin row is usually still empty.

Pictures on a holding

You can shoot one or pick from Photos. A few per holding is the cap. If the picker never appears, open iOS Settings and check SUBSTASH still has Camera / Photos allowed.

P&L numbers look off

FIFO, LIFO or average — whichever you picked — plus the reference price you typed for that coin. No mark on a coin means unrealised on that line stays blank. Cost vs value on Overview is the same set of figures.

Export

Settings → Export. Tick the chunks you want, Share from that screen. Preview is optional. The sheet that comes up is the system one; send it to Files, Mail, wherever you usually put notes.

Notes and snapshots

Notes are optional. Link a trade if you want the write-up sitting next to it. Snapshots freeze whatever you included that day. Compare is two of those next to each other. Nothing to “run” — if a row is missing you probably left it unticked.

I wiped the data

Settings → Delete all data. That’s it for that device. We don’t hold a spare copy.

We read these. A couple of working days is typical. Leave passwords and other secrets out of the mail.
