HPC Folio helps you search SEC filings, keep a personal library, and review documents on your iPhone. This page provides concise guidance for common tasks and support requests.
1. Getting Started
- Open the Search tab to look up a company by ticker, name, or CIK.
- Use the filter chips to narrow form types and date ranges.
- Save filings you want to keep, or upload your own files in Library.
- Review app options in Settings.
2. Library and Organization
- Create folders and tags to group related materials.
- Open a file to add notes, annotations, or note images.
- Use Preview to view supported document formats in the App.
- Where available, use View on EDGAR to open the related official filing page.
3. Watchlist
Add companies to your watchlist from Search or Settings. When the App detects newer filings for watched companies, a badge may appear on the Search tab.
4. Security and Cache
- Optional Face ID / Touch ID lock can be enabled in Settings.
- You can adjust cache duration or clear cache from Settings.
- Export Library creates a shareable archive of your saved materials.
- Erase All Local Data permanently removes library content and related preferences from the App.
5. Troubleshooting
- Search returns few results: Check the spelling of the ticker or CIK and try a broader date range.
- Document will not open: Confirm the file is still in your library, then try Preview again.
- Camera or photos unavailable: Allow access for HPC Folio in iOS Settings → Privacy.
- Biometric lock fails: Verify Face ID / Touch ID is set up on the device, then toggle the lock setting again.
